0About Me
Nuno Soares is a UMinho and CCG/ZGDV (Centro de Computação Gráfica) researcher and software engineer, integrating SEMAG (Software-based Information Systems Engineering and Management Group) at the ALGORITMI Research Centre. He holds a DEng degree in Engineering Systems and Computing (1994) and a MSc in Computing (1997), with a specialisation in Information Management, both from the University of Minho (UMinho). Nuno Soares is finalising a PhD in Advanced Engineering Systems for Industry (AESI) at UMinho with Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal as an industrial partner. Former Associate Professor for 15 years, teaching Computing and Management in two private universities, he has been involved in R&D projects since 2014. Their main areas of interest are Smart & Digital Cities and Digital Factories, comprising their organisational, societal, and technological derivations, the Semantic Web, Linked Data, Software Process Improvement, Reference Models, Maturity Models, and the more technological fields of the semantic interoperability in the domains of IoT and Industry 4.0.
