Luís M. Alves received an MSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Porto, Portugal, and a Ph.D. degree in Technology and Information Systems from the University of Minho, Portugal. He is an Assistant Researcher at ALGORITMI Research Information Systems and Technologies (IST) at the University of Minho. Currently, he is an Assistant Lecturer at the Technology and Management School of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança at the Informatics and Communications Department, where he teaches different courses in the broader area of programming. His primary research interests are empirical software engineering, software and project management, software metrics, and computer-assisted education.
