0About Me 
Géremi Dranka is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Post-Graduate Program in Production Engineering and Systems (PPGEPS) at the Federal University of Technology - Paraná (UTFPR), Brazil. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Systems from the University of Minho in Portugal in 2021. Prior to that, he completed his MSc in Electrical Engineering and bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UTFPR in 2014 and 2012, respectively. He is also a research investigator at the ALGORITMI Research Centre in Portugal, where he is a member of both the Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) Research and Development (R&D) Group and the Economics and Management of Engineering Systems (EMES) R&D Laboratory. His research interests encompass a wide array of topics within renewable energies, with a particular emphasis on energy planning, demand-side management, photovoltaic solar energy and sustainable development. His expertise lies in developing long-term simulation and optimization models for the electric power sector. He has contributed to funded research and development projects, including the development of a methodology for auditing photovoltaic systems and the computational implementation of methodologies for assessing the economic feasibility of real asset investment projects.
