4About Me 
Géremi Dranka is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and in the Industrial & Systems Engineering Graduate Program (PPGEPS) at the Federal University of Technology - Paraná (UTFPR), Brazil. He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Systems from the University of Minho, Portugal, in 2021. Prior to that, he completed both his M.Sc. (2014) and B.Sc. (2012) in Electrical Engineering at UTFPR. He is also a research investigator at the ALGORITMI Research Centre in Portugal, where he contributes to the Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) Research and Development Group and the Economics and Management of Engineering Systems (EMES) R&D Laboratory. His research focuses on renewable energy, emphasizing energy planning, electric mobility, demand-side management, photovoltaic solar energy, and sustainable development. Since November 2024, he has served as an Assistant Editor for Energy (Elsevier). Currently, he coordinates the Network Project with Brazilian Researchers Abroad, funded by CNPq (OPTISUS-IA), which focuses on optimizing sustainable public transportation systems. He has been actively involved in various funded research and development initiatives, including the creation of methodologies for auditing photovoltaic systems and implementing computational tools to evaluate the economic feasibility of real asset investment projects.
