0About Me
Telmo Adão concluiu o doutoramento em 2015, em Computação Gráfica, no ramo da Modelação Procedimental. Acumula 10+ anos de experiência de participação em projetos de I&D, nas áreas da Realidade Virtual, Aumentada e Mista, técnicas procedimentais para a geração automática ou semiautomática de estruturas virtuais, Remote Sensing com recurso a veículos aéreos não-tripulados (VANTs) e Machine Learning, Processamento Digital de Imagem e Visão por Computador e IoT/Computação Distribuída no contexto da mulsemedia. O seu trabalho a nível científico estende-se às áreas da navegação outdoors, Human-Machine Interaction, Deep Learning na agricultura/floresta, push media e aplicações multimédia multipropósito. Detém know-how ligado ao treino e aplicação de redes neuronais para classificação e segmentação de objetos em imagem. Exerce funções de professor convidado equiparado a professor auxiliar na Universidade do Minho, onde leciona unidades curriculares ligadas a programação. Também lecionou, pela Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro e pelo Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (EsACT), unidades curriculares de desenvolvimento de aplicações (stand-alone e para a web), modelação e animação 3D, entre outros tópicos inseridos nas áreas disciplinares da Informática, nomeadamente programação estruturada e orientada a objetos. Anteriormente, coordenou um departamento de I&D no Centro de Computação Gráfica.

Telmo Adão é o atual coordenador de desenvolvimento CVIG (Computer Vision, Interaction and Graphics) do Centro de Computação Gráfica, Universidade do Minho, Portugal. Concluiu o doutoramento em 2015, em Computação Gráfica, no ramo da Modelação Procedimental. Acumula 10 anos de experiência de participação em projetos de I&D nas áreas da Realidade Virtual, Aumentada e Mista, técnicas procedimentais para a geração automática ou semiautomática de estruturas virtuais, Remote Sensing com recurso a veículos aéreos não-tripulados (VANTs) e Machine Learning, Processamento Digital de Imagem e Visão por Computador e IoT/Computação Distribuída no contexto da mulsemedia. O seu trabalho a nível científico estende-se às áreas da navegação outdoors, Human-Machine Interaction, Deep Learning na agricultura/floresta, push media e aplicações multimédia multipropósito. Tem experiência na implementação de aplicações móveis e desenvolvimento Web. Possuí know-how ligado ao treino e aplicação de redes neuronais para classificação e segmentação de objetos em imagem. É autor de 70 publicações científicas (em revista e conferência). Exerce funções de professor convidado na Universidade do Minho, onde leciona unidades curriculares ligadas à programação informática. Já lecionou, pela Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, unidades curriculares de desenvolvimento de aplicações (stand-alone e para a web), modelação e animação 3D, entre outros tópicos inseridos nas áreas disciplinares da Informática.

Telmo Adão é o atual coordenador de desenvolvimento CVIG (Computer Vision, Interaction and Graphics) do Centro de Computação Gráfica, Universidade do Minho, Portugal. Concluiu o doutoramento em 2015, em Computação Gráfica, no ramo da Modelação Procedimental. Acumula 10 anos de experiência de participação em projetos de I&D nas áreas da Realidade Virtual, Aumentada e Mista, técnicas procedimentais para a geração automática ou semiautomática de estruturas virtuais, Remote Sensing com recurso a veículos aéreos não-tripulados (VANTs) e Machine Learning, Processamento Digital de Imagem e Visão por Computador e IoT/Computação Distribuída no contexto da mulsemedia. O seu trabalho a nível científico estende-se às áreas da navegação outdoors, Human-Machine Interaction, Deep Learning na agricultura/floresta, push media e aplicações multimédia multipropósito. Tem experiência na implementação de aplicações móveis e desenvolvimento Web. Possuí know-how ligado ao treino e aplicação de redes neuronais para classificação e segmentação de objetos em imagem. É autor de 70 publicações científicas (em revista e conferência). Exerce funções de professor convidado na Universidade do Minho, onde leciona unidades curriculares ligadas à programação informática. Já lecionou, pela Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, unidades curriculares de desenvolvimento de aplicações (stand-alone e para a web), modelação e animação 3D, entre outros tópicos inseridos nas áreas disciplinares da Informática.
