João Pedro Vasconcelos Silva holds a PhD in Leaders for Technical Industries and a MSc in Mechanical Engineering both from University of Minho (Portugal). Throughout his academic pursuits, his research has been centered on biomass combustion and numerical simulation for industrial facilities. His profile reflects the scientific knowledge and competencies in the field of Engineering Sciences and Technology, namely in the fields of Mechanical Engineering with a special interest in Thermal and Fluids Engineering, Energy Conversion and Production, Renewable Energy, Power Plant Commissioning, and Computational Fluid Dynamics Simulation. During his research period, he also collaborated with large companies such as Continental Mabor, Bosch, Efacec, Altri, and EDP - Energias de Portugal.
