0About Me 
Isabel Loureiro is a Human Engineering Professor (invited professor) at University of Minho where she is also a researcher at the ALGORITMI Research Center in the “Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM)” research line, group of “Ergonomics and Human Factors. She works as a consultant for Sustainable Business Strategy and she is also general Coordinator of Guimarães Mission Structure 2030 dealing with sustainable development at local level. This a joint project of Guimarães City Hall, University of Minho, UNU-EGOV (United Nations University), University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, Cávado and Ave Polytechnic Institute She is certified by Harvard Business School in Sustainable Business Strategy and by EIT- Climate-KIC (a body from the European Union) in Accelerating Transitions focusing on a systems level towards a low carbon society (e.g. cities, regions, countries, industrial sectors, networks of organizations, etc.). As consultant for Sustainable Business Strategy she has competences in Systems thinking, Visioning & defining goals, Strategic networking & communication, implementing change, Monitoring & adaptation. She is author and co-author of scientific publications in the Human factors and Sustainability domain. She is a member of the Occupational and Safety Portuguese Society and Member of the Scientific Committe of several conferences. She holds a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Master in Human Engineering both from the University of Minho. She is graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Porto.
