The SO2 targets the development of skills within the following domains: Intelligent Systems (Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Big Data, IoT), Smart Material, Advanced Manufacturing Processes, Digitalization, Circular Economy, Climate Changes, and new Business Models.

SO3 – Contribute to Bootstrapping of Entrepreneurship and Emergence of Industry-focused Startups based on Intelligence and Sustainable Technology

ALGORITMI will strongly support Portuguese and international entrepreneurs, emerging from the science and technology ecosystems of the universities comprising this unit, to create their Startups with value propositions delivering Products and Services enabled by Intelligent Systems and oriented towards the sustainability of Portuguese industrial companies. These Startups will also need to create and deliver value through innovative business models.
