VISTA Lab is the research unit from ALGORITMI at University of Évora, which aims to cultivate a dynamic academic environment dedicated to advancing knowledge and expertise in Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing and the broad area of Artificial Intelligence.

Its mission is to educate the next generation of leaders, conduct impactful research, and contribute to the broader scientific community, with a focus on addressing real-world challenges through innovative applications of intelligent technologies.

By promoting collaboration, diversity, and ethical considerations, its vision is to empower students and researchers to reach advanced scientific outcomes and drive positive societal impact through advanced technologies and informed decision-making.
VISTA Lab research and development covers the wide area of computational intelligent systems, including:
