0About Me 
He is currently an adjunct professor at UPE teaching the subject of occupational safety engineering at the undergraduate level. As well as, professor of reports and expertise in the Specialization course in Occupational Safety Engineering and Occupational Hygiene. He is the sector coordinator of technical and pedagogical support at the Polytechnic School. He belongs to the teaching staff of the Master's Program in Civil Construction at POLI (PEC / POLI). He is a member of the Occupational Safety and Hygiene Center / NSHT, working on developing research in the area of risk management in industrial processes and civil construction. He is part of the editorial board of the Revista de Engenharia e Pesquisa Aplicada / REPA. He is a reviewer for the Safety Science Journal. He carries out research in the area of safety in confined environments, working at heights and dangerous and explosive atmospheres. He collaborates with other research groups in the area of new materials with an emphasis on their toxicity. Recently, at the request of society, he has been studying the psychosocial risk of workers who carry out high-risk activities. As for training, he has a degree in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), a postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering from the Polytechnic School of Pernambuco (POLI - UPE), a Master's degree in Civil Engineering in the line of research of safety in construction by the Polytechnic School of Pernambuco (POLI-UPE). PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Minho (UMINHO - PT).
